Terms & Conditions

1. Scope

1.1 These Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) apply to all orders and agreements concluded via the website, email, Instagram, or any other communication channels with Perfume Discovery Box.

1.2 Orders may be placed by private individuals. Delivery is available within Switzerland and to selected international destinations (see Section 5). By placing an order, customers accept these T&C in their valid version at the time of ordering.

 

2. Conclusion of Contract and Contract Language

2.1 The presentation of products on the website, Instagram, or other media does not constitute a legally binding offer. All offers are subject to change and non-binding.

2.2 Contracts are concluded only with persons who are of legal age and legally competent.

2.3 By placing an order via email, Instagram, or other communication channels, you submit a binding offer to purchase the selected goods. A contract is concluded only upon our written confirmation (e.g., by email or direct message) or at the latest upon handover/shipment of the goods.

2.4 The contract language is English.

 

3. Order Information

3.1 To place an order with Perfume Discovery Box, customers must provide accurate contact details (name, address, email address and/or phone number) as well as delivery and payment details.

3.2 The required information is provided once during the ordering process; a permanent customer account with login functionality is not required.

3.3 Customers are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is correct and complete. We do not accept liability for failed or incorrect deliveries caused by inaccurate information.

3.4 Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and solely for the purpose of fulfilling the order.

 

4. Prices and Payment Terms

4.1 All prices are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include all applicable statutory charges. Shipping costs (and, where applicable, insurance) are communicated separately in advance.

4.2 Unless otherwise agreed, the prices stated at the time of ordering are binding. Prices are final and include packaging and Swiss taxes where applicable.

4.3 Payment is made exclusively by bank transfer or cash upon collection. No other payment methods are offered.

4.4 The full invoice amount must be paid in advance. Processing/assembly and dispatch begin only after payment has been received.

4.5 We do not offer payment “on invoice” after delivery. We do not apply reminder fees or debt collection procedures — please ensure timely payment so that the order can be processed.

 

5. Place of Performance, Delivery and Shipping Fees (International Shipping)

5.1 The place of performance is the registered address of Perfume Discovery Box in 6006 Luzern, Switzerland. Goods are shipped from Switzerland to the delivery address provided by the customer.

5.2 Delivery of the ordered products takes place after payment has been received and once the goods are ready. The processing/assembly time is generally 1–2 weeks, depending on complexity and order volume.

5.3 Shipping destinations. We ship within Switzerland and to selected international destinations. Availability of international shipping depends on the destination country and applicable transport restrictions. We reserve the right to refuse shipments to certain countries or addresses (e.g., where shipping is not possible or is prohibited).

5.4 Shipping costs. Shipping fees depend on the destination country, shipping method, and package size/weight. The applicable shipping cost will be communicated and confirmed to the customer before dispatch.

5.5 Customs, duties and taxes (international orders). For deliveries outside Switzerland, customs duties, import taxes, VAT, and any handling fees may be charged by the destination country. These costs are borne by the customer and are not included in our prices or shipping fees. Customers are responsible for providing any information required for customs clearance.

5.6 Delivery times. Estimated delivery times depend on the destination and carrier and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to carrier operations, customs processing, peak periods, or other circumstances beyond our control.

5.7 Transfer of risk. The risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon handover of the shipment to the carrier, to the extent permitted by law. If shipping insurance is available and requested, we will inform the customer of the options and costs.

5.8 Collection. Collection in Luzern is possible by prior arrangement.

 

6. Statutory Right of Withdrawal / Cancellation (Perfume Samples & Discovery Boxes)

6.1 No right of withdrawal / return. For hygiene and consumer protection reasons, perfume samples, decants, and discovery boxes are generally excluded from return once delivered, especially where seals are broken and/or the product has been opened, used, or tested.

6.2 Binding orders. Orders are binding and cannot be cancelled or changed free of charge once confirmed by Perfume Discovery Box and/or once preparation, decanting, packaging, or dispatch has started.

6.3 Defects / incorrect delivery. If you receive an incorrect item or a defective product (e.g., leakage or damage caused before handover), please contact us immediately at perfumelovers.help@gmail.com and provide photos. We will review the case and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, re-decanting, or a price reduction.

 

7. Exchange

7.1 An exchange is excluded if the goods are defect-free and delivered as agreed.

7.2 An exchange is only possible in the case of a proven defect or incorrect delivery.

 

8. Retention of Title

8.1 The goods remain the property of Perfume Discovery Box until full payment has been received.

 

9. Liability

9.1 Perfume Discovery Box’s liability is governed by applicable statutory provisions. Liability for slight negligence, indirect or consequential damages (e.g., loss of profit, delays) is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

9.2 Perfume Discovery Box is not liable for damages resulting from improper storage, transport, handling, or use of the products after handover.

9.3 Allergies / sensitivities. No liability is assumed for allergic reactions or sensitivities. Customers are responsible for informing us of any known intolerances or allergies prior to ordering. Ingredient information may be provided upon request or, where applicable, on the product packaging.

9.4 Force majeure (e.g., natural events, pandemics, official orders) releases Perfume Discovery Box from its delivery obligations for the duration of the disruption.

 

10. Warranty / Claims for Defects

10.1 For private customers, the statutory warranty provisions under Swiss law apply. Customers are requested to check the goods immediately upon receipt for completeness, integrity, and conformity with the order. Any defects should be reported within 24 hours of receipt, including photos, via email to perfumelovers.help@gmail.com.

This request serves solely to ensure fast processing and does not limit statutory rights.

10.2 For business customers, Swiss warranty law also applies. Complaints must be submitted immediately, but no later than 3 working days after receipt of the goods, in writing. If no notice is given, the delivery is deemed approved.

Perfume Discovery Box reserves the right to remedy defects by replacement or price reduction.


11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

11.1 These T&C and all contractual relationships between the customer and Perfume Discovery Box are governed by Swiss law.

11.2 To the extent permitted by law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in connection with these T&C and/or orders placed with Perfume Discovery Box is Luzern (Switzerland).
